Terms and Conditions
Event
Attendee understands that the CookieCon Ticket entitles the purchaser entry and access to the CookieCon event only. Purchasing additional Add-On Workshops entitle the attendee to those specific classes. Attendee understands that these items are purchased separately and that no other benefits are included (including, but not limited to travel and lodging). There is not a physical ticket provided. Attendees are expected to keep information sent via email for confirmation.
Protection of Class Content
Attendee agrees not to copy instructors’ materials for any purpose, including republication, duplication, or sharing. Unauthorized photos or videos in any class, breakout session, demo, or Add-On Workshop is prohibited.
Cancellation Policy
Attendee may cancel either the CookieCon ticket or any Add-On Workshop before February 7, 2025 for a partial refund. There will be a $19 processing fee retained for the refund of a CookieCon ticket itself, and $19 for each Add-On Workshop canceled. An Add-On Workshop is considered "canceled" even if a different class is added to replace the dropped class. The $9.95 registration fee will not be refunded. After February 7, 2025, there will be NO REFUNDS for cancellations for any reason.
Early Registration for Add-On Workshops (which starts a week after CookieCon Attendee Tickets go on sale, and lasts for one week) is a benefit for CookieCon Attendee Ticket holders. Attendees canceling their Attendee Ticket will also have any Add-On Workshops purchased during that period canceled. A Full Attendee cannot change to an "Add-On Workshop Student Only", and maintain Workshops purchased during the Early Registration period.
Any cancellation must be made in writing and sent by email to contact@cookiecon.com
If CookieCon must be canceled as a whole (at any point), CookieCon will refund ticket price to Attendees, minus a $19 processing fee. Add-On Workshops will also be refunded minus a $19 processing fee per class. The $9.95 Registration Fee will not be refunded. Additional purchases, such as an Official T-Shirt, will be refunded in full.
Event Refund Policy
Beyond the cancellation policies listed above, no refund for either the CookieCon Attendee Ticket or Add-On Workshops will be offered to Attendee.
Ticket and Class Transfers
If Attendee is unable to attend CookieCon, either as an Attendee or as an Add-On Workshop Student, an alternate person may be sent in their place at no extra charge. Notification should be made in writing by the original ticket holder (via email to contact@cookiecon.com) as soon as possible. When writing, please include the alternate Attendee’s full name and email address. Selling a CookieCon Ticket and/or Add-On Workshop to another person is permitted, but payment must be arranged and completed between the selling and purchasing parties.
Attendee may not inflate ticket or Add-On Workshop Class prices for resale (ticket scalping). Persons scalping tickets may be banned from purchasing CookieCon tickets in the future.
Sharing of Benefits
There is no sharing of Attendee benefits. Each registration (or ticket) allows admittance of one person only. Benefits included with ticket purchase may not be pieced out (for example, a banquet ticket cannot be sold or given to another person. Sharing/splitting class and event attendance is also not allowed.)
