Last updated on Feb 10, 2022. Please review if you have not read this since that date.

CookieCon is dedicated to the enjoyment, comfort, and safety of all participants. We invite unvaccinated participants to consider the time between now and CookieCon to possibly get your vaccination.

We respect the privacy and individual decisions of everyone in this regard. We also kindly ask for consideration for everyone's well-being.

Whether vaccinated or not, please plan on taking reasonable precautions and exercising good public health practices.

Thanks for your contribution to fun and safe CookieCon events!

Please keep an eye on this page as we update it with information about precautions and safety procedures that will be in place for our event. Masking, Vaccine, and other COVID-related policies may be updated between now and CookieCon. For now, here are current policies.

  • Masking:
As of Feb 10, 2022 employees and guests at the Peppermill are not required to wear a mask. This update was made in response to Nevada Governor Sisolak's announcement.

Naturally any individual wishing to wear a mask is very welcome to do that.

We will continue to monitor policies in this regard.

We REALLY appreciate your compliance and contributions to a safe environment for everyone! Thank you!
  • CookieCon intends to comply with State, County, City, and Venue safety mandates and policies as they relate to COVID-19 practices. We also reserve the right to make our own policies as an event. See the following resources for updates and current policies from these locales and venues:

  • Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the hotels and event space, which we will encourage attendees to utilize.
  • CookieCon is taking notable steps to increase safety at our events. Some practices will include: sanitizing wipe-downs of items between use, reduced contact of distributed items, extra seats added to large gatherings when possible, and new tools and materials used in classes for each student when practically possible.
  • As a final note, thank you for your trust and patience, as we do our best to provide a safe and comfortable event for everyone!
