Are you ready to add lettering to cookies without having to rely on a projector?! Come join me as we work on our freehand lettering and add stunning embellishments to compliment your lettering designs on cookie sets! This class is packed with demonstrations and hands-on activities to practice freehand lettering with different fonts and adding details to your cookies. You will also learn how to create my preferred lettering consistency and learn about techniques to help make freehand lettering easier to achieve. By the end of this class, you will have more confidence in lettering without any projectors or transfer methods, making every cookie a unique creation!
What you will learn:
- How to incorporate lettering designs into your cookie sets
- Achieve the best royal icing consistency for lettering, you will mix lettering consistency for 1 color during class
- Cut holes for tipless piping bags with lettering consistencies
- Tips and tricks for freehand lettering with different types of fonts
- Practice piping letters for common words such as “congrats” and “welcome”
- Create beautiful backgrounds and textures that work well with lettering on top
- Utilize piping tips for floral details on lettering designs
- Add puffy textures to designs including balloon arches, banners, greenery, and daisies

All levels are welcome!
Some experience with piping and flooding with royal icing is beneficial, but you do not need to have any experience with lettering consistencies. Please note, you will be mixing lettering consistency for 1 color in class and applying pressure on your hands when you pipe letters and pipe florals during class.
