Let’s turn your kitchen into your own Fresh Flower Cookie Market! We will make 5 Royal Icing peony cookies, and I take out all the guesswork for you so you can grow these beauties by the bounty in your own hometown. The best part is all the skills and packaging taught can be transferred over to all the different TFC Flower Cookies already out! The flower bouquets have been many cookiers' #1 seller at pop-ups for Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, graduations, & birthdays. You will learn how to make 3 different bouquet wraps complete with bows and a "wax seal".
Skills taught:
- Making different matte design textures on your cookie bases that take literally A FEW MINUTES! No more having to flood your bases first or waiting for impressed parchment to dry. We will do a practice cookie first and then apply it on one of the flower bases
- Hands-on how to make 3 different sized stunning bouquet wraps—a 6-cookie bouquet, a 4-cookie bouquet, and a 1-cookie bouquet
- Hands-on making a “wax seal” and adding ribbon on your bouquets
- Using certain icing tips for accuracy and to quicken the process in making these cookies
- Tips and tricks for adding dimension and fullness to petals
- Piping for detail, dimension, and an organic feel to the stems and leaves
- Micro-piping fine petal detail
- Drybrush painting using edible food color powders for minimal work time and no-hassle shading, depth, and interest to each flower. (Color shading may change slightly.)
