Discover the joys of mixed media cookie decorating in our engaging class, “Good Vibes only”, where only good vibes are allowed!

Have a great time creating a cute groovy doll, wearing classic 60’s bell bottom jeans and retro hippie blouse.

I’ll be teaching my techniques for creating 3D dimension using a combination of royal icing and fondant. We’ll also be using food color gels (or powdered colors) to create different effects on this groovy cloth and to make our mini royal icing roses details POP.

Uncover the groovy cookie art of edible painting to create gorgeous and vivid cartoon faces, with my signature eye painting technique, paired with mixed media embellishment as I guide you through a creative cookie class. This will be for sure full of fun and skill development.

You will also learn:

• My favorite color brands and the pros and cons of each.
• Paintbrush overview (When to use vodka and when to use glycerin).
• Dry brushing to enhance texture
• Dimensional piping for flawless puffy letters. You will learn the basics to create puffy letters with tips and tricks to never have bubbles or craters and the right royal icing consistency to achieve them.
• Finishing touches and details to make your work POP!
• And… who does not love beautiful royal icing mini roses to embellish our cookie art? In this class you will pipe some mini roses to add to your repertoire.

Join us in this fun class full of details and techniques that you can combined to create a masterpiece or use each technique separately applied in your daily cookie creations to make them POP and have a good vibe!

All tools and materials will be supplied for classroom use only.
