We’ll explore various techniques to create stunning, multi-dimensional cookie designs. You’ll learn how to combine different materials and methods to bring your cookie visions to life, transforming simple treats into edible masterpieces. Plus, we’ll share some insider secrets, tips and tricks to make your cookies not just look amazing but taste fantastic, too!

This super cute cookie set is perfect for the season, and this class is loaded with great skills youcan use for any cookies or to create unique showstopper pieces of edible art.

You will learn how to:
  • Bring a plain cookie to a dimensional level.
  • Create royal icing texture and volume that bring a whole new dimension to your cookies!
  • Paint depth and movement on your cookies and Carmen’s signature hand painting techniques to give lovely expressions to your cookie characters and their faces to bring them to life.
  • Create different embellishments with simple techniques that will add volume to your cookies using royal icing transfers and mixed media elements!
  • Pipe blooming flowers and greenery.
  • Work with fondant and gum paste.
  • Work with edible moss.
  • And so much more!
What you will take home:
  • You will leave with one eleven-inch beautiful hand painted and mixed media cookie in a take-home cookie box.
  • You will also get cookie dough, edible moss and royal icing recipes.
  • Many more surprises picked by Carmen especially for you as a thank you for attending her class!
  • Due to time constriction, moss will not be made in class but you will take home the recipe and the steps to work with it.
Please note - Since this class involves handling various materials and multimedia, the instructor will regularly request you to tidy up your workspace. Cleaning wipes and paper towels will be supplied for this use.
