Transferring your CookieCon Ticket or Add-On Workshop

This page outlines how to sell or transfer your CookieCon Ticket and/Or Add-On Workshop(s).

REMINDER: After February 7, 2025 there will be no refunds issued by CookieCon but you may sell or transfer your ticket privately.
Finding a Buyer:

CookieCon Event Ticket Only

After you find someone to buy your ticket you will need to:
  1. Make arrangement for payment with buyer. Some popular payment options are Paypal, Venmo, and Zelle.
  2. After you have received payment, email contact@cookiecon.com with the following:
    • Your Name
    • Your Email
    • Your Reference #
    • Buyer Name
    • Buyer Email

CookieCon Event Ticket with Add-On Workshops

If you have purchased Add-On Workshops with your event ticket, you must sell everything (either individually or as a total package) before we can make any transfers.

Example: You have someone who wants to buy your Attendee ticket only and not your Add-On workshops. You are currently trying to sell the workshops separately. We can NOT do a transfer of the CookieCon ticket until your workshops have been sold also.

After you have sold everything (your ticket AND your workshops):
  1. Make payment arrangements with buyer(s)
  2. After you have received payment, email contact@cookicon.com with the following :
    • Your Name
    • Your Email
    • Your Reference #
    • Buyer('s) Name(s)
    • Buyer('s) Email(s)
    • Detailed explanation of who purchased which items (ticket, workshops, etc)

Additional Tips and Notes:

The buyer will "inherit" your electives and T-shirt size/style. If it is before the change deadline [February 26, 2025], the buyer can request changes by emailing contact@cookiecon.com. If there are openings in the electives they want, we can make the change. If not, they will have to keep or cancel the original ticket holder's choices. If they would like a different size or style of T-shirt and there is a difference in cost, they will need to pay the difference. (Most size/styles trade straight across, but some differ by $2-$4.) T-shirts will not be shipped.

Please be careful about offers to purchase your ticket. Make sure they are legitimate and make sure you have their money in your account before providing them with any ticket or account information. CookieCon will not be held responsible for private sales that fall through.

Generally, you should be able to sell your ticket at full price, including your registration fee and T-shirt and tax (if applicable). We do not allow inflating of ticket prices for resale. Anyone caught doing this will be banned from purchasing CookieCon tickets in the future.

If you are trying to sell Add-On Workshops which currently still have openings, you may find them difficult to sell. If it is BEFORE the no-refunds date [February 7, 2025], it may make more sense to get a refund directly through CookieCon. Be advised that a $19/class cancellation fee will be imposed. If it is AFTER the no-refunds date [February 7, 2025], you may be able to recoup some of your class fees by selling your ticket and/or classes publicly at a discounted bundle price.
