Always had an interest in piping florals? Just wanna learn new floral techniques to up your floral game? Join me in my Floral Prickly Pear Class!

In this class students will learn:
  • Hands-on experience with mixing your own royal icing floral and leaf consistencies. This helps to ensure you can be successful with floral projects at home.
  • For this class there will be 1 floral and 2 leaf consistencies to mix
  • You will pipe 3 different florals that can be used on your weekly cookie sets
  • You will pipe easy snake leaves that take seconds to add to your cookies
  • We will be using outside the box edible materials that will take our florals to the next level
  • I will walk you through how to make large floral royal icing transfers using a floral nail
  • How to paint a smooth layer of icing onto your cookie for short dry time. This technique comes in clutch for those last minute orders!
  • You will learn how to watercolor and add dimension to your cookies
  • How to watercolor those florals to add dimension
  • How to think outside the box with your cookie dough. I will have a video tutorial sent through your guidebook with how to manipulate your dough to look like a cactus

I will provide a link to a class guidebook to help you be successful during and after CookieCon. The guidebook will go over the class itself, class timeline, picture reminders of floral construction, color mixing guide, supply lists, videos on consistency, and frequently asked questions. You will also have access to ask all your burning questions before and after cookie con via Instagram. A DM thread will be set up to help you reach all your floral goals.

When you’re finished you will take home 1 BEAUTIFUL 8x11 inch Prickly Pear canvas and plenty of royal icing transfers to use in the future AND the confidence to construct florals all on your own at home.

All supplies needed for this class will be provided but will need to be returned at the end of class.
